We first got a glimpse of the new 2021 Ford F-150 during the debut in June.
2021 Ford F-150 Release Date
The new F-150 release date is expected during the Fall of 2020. The PowerBoost Hybrid F-150 is expected to arrive at the same time. However, the electric F-150 models are not expected to arrive until 2022.
2021 Ford F-150 Redesign
The biggest change to the 2021 Ford F-150 lineup is the addition of the PowerBoost Hybrid model, which is estimated to be included with about ten percent of the new trucks sold. Additionally, there are some new styling changes with the 2021 Ford F-150. Owners can choose between 17-, 18-, 20- and 22-inch wheels, plus 15 exterior colors, six of which are new options.

We are expecting a total of seven trim levels with the 2021 Ford F-150, with no word yet on the electric models.

2021 Ford F-150 MPG & Fuel Tank Capacity
To determine the fuel economy of the F-150, you must look at the available engines. While there is a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6, 3.0-liter diesel V6, 5.0-liter V8, 2.7-liter V6 and 3.3-liter V6, the best fuel economy numbers are found with the EcoBoost engine. This model is estimated at 20/26 mpg, while the hybrid model is also achieving 23 mpg combined. The standard gasoline engines are paired with a fuel tank measuring between 23 and 36 gallons, while the hybrid has a 30.6-gallon fuel tank. The hybrid F-150 can travel about 700 miles on one tank of fuel.

2021 Ford F-150 Electric Range
There is no concrete data on the electric F-150 range yet, but we expect it to top three hundred miles. It should come with a longer range than the Mustang Mach-E electric SUV.
2021 Ford F-150 Configurations
You can choose from three configurations with the 2021 Ford F-150. The Regular Cab has room for three occupants, while both the SuperCab and SuperCrew have room for six.
2021 Ford F-150 Towing Capacity
The 2021 Ford F-150 can tow up to 13,200 pounds, depending on what configuration is chosen. There aren't numbers on the electric F-150 yet, but it's expected to be the fastest F-150, complete with all-wheel-drive, so it should be quite capable.
2021 Ford F-150 Payload
With the right configuration, the new F-150 can haul up to 3,270 pounds.
2021 Ford F-150 Curb Weight
As of now, the 2021 Ford F-150 curb weight will measure 4,550 and 5,700 pounds.
2021 Ford F-150 Gross Weight
Additionally, the new F-150 gross weight is between 6,100 and 7,050 pounds.
2021 Ford F-150 Transmission
All motors, except for the electric model, come complete with a ten-speed automatic for a smooth-shifting experience.

2021 Ford F-150 Interior Improvements
The new 2021 F-150 has some interior updates worth noting. The fold-flat front seats allow you to take a quick nap anywhere, while the new holes located around the door handles provide more versatility. There are also some new lockable storage compartments found under the back seats. As far as standard equipment is concerned, owners gain access to the SYNC 4 infotainment system and an eight-inch horizontal touch screen.
2021 Ford F-150 Length
There aren't many changes expected with the 2021 Ford F-150 length. For now, it should be 209.3- to 250.5-inches long.
