The 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning with the standard range battery offers 426 horsepower and up to 230 miles of driving range. In comparison, the extended range battery provides 563 horsepower and can allow up to 300 miles of travel on a single charge. However, both options provide 775 lb-ft of torque.

Towing Capacity | 2022 Ford F-150

The 2022 Ford F-150 Lighting will tow 10,000 pounds when equipped with the extended range battery. If your pickup includes the standard range battery, it features a maximum towing capacity of 7,700 pounds instead.

Payload | 2022 Ford F-150

The 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning has a maximum payload capacity of 2,000 pounds with the standard range battery. If you choose the heavier extended range battery, the payload capacity is reduced to 1,800 pounds.
