2022 Ford Ranger Interior
The 2022 Ford Ranger will be available as a SuperCab and SuperCrew model. The interior ranges from industrial to luxury, depending on what trim level you opt for.
2022 Ford Ranger Exterior
We don't have the 2022 Ford Ranger dimensions yet, but they shouldn't be much different from the previous pickup that is rated at 211″ L x 78″ W x 71-72″ H. This Ranger is a true mid-size pickup. It's larger and more rugged than the brand-new Maverick yet smaller than the F-150 lineup.
2022 Ford Ranger Technology & Infotainment
The 2022 Ford Ranger comes standard with a Wi-Fi hot spot, a four-speaker sound system, Bluetooth, and a USB port. You can also add HD Radio, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a premium 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, and two extra USB ports.
2022 Ford Ranger Engine & MPG
The 2022 Ford Ranger comes equipped with a 270-horsepower 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder. You can equip your truck with RWD or 4WD. There's the possibility that Ford might add a 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine as well, possibly pumping out 330 horsepower. Both engines will include a ten-speed automatic transmission. The existing engine creates 21/26 mpg with RWD and 20/24 with 4WD.
2022 Ford Ranger Towing Capacity
You can tow up to 7,500 pounds with the current engine in the 2022 Ford Ranger. Any changes coming soon may adjust the overall capacity.
2022 Ford Ranger Off-Road Capabilities
The 2022 Ford Ranger comes with a variety of packages that can add off-road equipment. Choose the Tremor, FX2, or FX4 Package to add items such as skid plates, a locking rear differential, off-road tires, crawl control, a terrain management system, and an off-road-tuned suspension.
2022 Ford Ranger Seating & Cargo
The 2022 Ford Ranger offers seating for four to five people. However, there is some talk of a possible Regular Cab, two-door truck option in the works. If this truck arrives, it will offer seating for three instead.
2022 Ford Ranger Bed & Payload
The 2022 Ford Ranger comes equipped with a 5' bed on SuperCrew models and a 6' bed if you choose the SuperCab. The new Ranger can haul up to 1,860 pounds when equipped.
2022 Ford Ranger: What's New for 2022?
