a comfortable drive
by cj50 on Saturday, January 11, 2014
Bought it used in 2004. It had 39788 miles on it. At 102000 miles the tranny needed a rebuild. These days it runs and drives very nicely. But the radio gets tinny, the power sliding doors don't power anymore and the key fob has to be up close to work. Gas mileage isn't that good. 15 in city driving, 21-23 if the wind is pushing you. This thing eats batteries. It was very pho Lincoln when we bought it. I don't want another one. You can do better. - 3.0
a money pit
by ducky on Monday, April 07, 2014
I did have this van for 10 years, but for the past 5 it's been a money pit. Broken axle, replaced transmission, alternator, rack and pinion steering system and now the engine is bad at only 127K. - 3.0
This car is a BEAST
by chris on Thursday, October 27, 2011
This van has been going for 10 years. It has a lot of quirks, but it is as dependable as all get out. You can take the seats out, haul all kinds of monster-sized stuff! It takes forever to get up to speed, but once it's cruising, the weight alone will allow you to coast forever. It's starting to show it's age (issues with corrosion on the underframe) and will be replaced, but it has hauled so many kids and so much stuff that it will forever have dear place in our hearts!
